CIA Director, William Casey is reputed to have said to Ronald Reagan ‘We’ll know our disinformation is complete when everything the American public believes is false.’
Fast forward thirty years, and there’s no piece of fiction the masses will not swallow. From Woke to COVID to the war in Ukraine, people no longer make their own ideological pilgrimages to the truth - the truth is served oven-ready by their political betters. Nowadays, there's little distinction between the two hemispheres: reality and illusion. It's not so much that people have been robbed of their ability to decipher between these two, it’s that facts have been reoriented into fiction and fiction into facts. It's a degradation of epistemology so momentous, that people don't even know that they don't know that they don't know what's happening, to quote one former anarchist. In the grand scheme of things, humanity has perjured themselves and life as we know it has morphed into a sort of science-fiction, soap-opera with few common ancestors to reality. Even right-thinking folks require the equivalent of a cerebral chainsaw to hollow out the slew of implausible narratives into something remotely resembling reality. It goes beyond fiction to predictive programming. They’re not just deceiving you; they’re showing you that they're deceiving you. Read more here at The Cogent . . .

"The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum — even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate..." - Chomsky This remains true despite the increasingly obvious fact that Chomsky himself is part of that function. What he's describing is the "fake binary". The imposition of the idea that Viewpoint A is the official approved narrative and that Viewpoint B is therefore its antithesis. Points C through Z can therefore be ignored. The fact hidden in plain sight being that both Viewpoint A and Viewpoint B actually reinforce the overarching narrative being sold and both lead to the same place. It's an incredibly effective management tool. A fake binary allows you to not just manipulate the conformist Normies who automatically obey, but also those who consider themselves to be 'anti-establishment', contrarians or 'rebels'. How are fake binaries created? They are often initially introduced by the following methods... 💢Using the legacy media to widely publicize Viewpoint B while appearing to deny, refute or ridicule it. 💢 "Leaking" allegedly confidential documents that "expose" Viewpoint B as the "hidden truth". This is usually done through the legacy media, though it's more effective if you can seed it through the indy media sector. 💢 Creating entities that are tagged as "anti-establishment" but given a mass following, and feeding them Viewpoint B material. Once Viewpoint B becomes a dominant "anti-establishment" view you can afford to sit back and allow the oppositional instinct in human nature to do your work for you, and reinforce the fake binary you created without the slightest awareness this is what is happening. It becomes widely understood that the only solution to the obvious and real evils of Viewpoint A is Viewpoint B. The fact Viewpoint B actually concedes all the same falsehoods contained in Viewpoint A remains unnoticed and anyone pointing this out tends to be attacked by both sides. Fake binaries are a godsend to the opinion-managers. We'll be talking more about this in the near future... The world’s most read online newspaper, the Daily Mail, ran an article on 9th February about the plan to install new 5G devices on road signs, bus shelters and traffic lights. The UK government has announced it wants to bypass Councils to make it easier for telecoms companies to put antennae on public infrastructure.

When you look closely at "conspiracy theories" and keep finding they are true . . . By Martin Geddes:
"On September 7th, 2001 I was on a business trip to New York as an employee of Sprint. It was a beautiful blue-sky day, and I recall standing in a skyscraper on Times Square and looking down Broadway towards Lower Manhattan and the Twin Towers. Four days later I was hiking in Zion National Park when the world exploded into madness. For years I had no reason to question the official narrative of that day, and accepted it without question. I was aware of “conspiracy theories” and alternative views, but I saw them as fringe and unimportant. My life revolved around professional advancement, small children, and personal dislocations. The illegal and illegitimate wars in Iraq and Afghanistan gave me pause for thought. I remember giving Tony Blair the benefit of the doubt over the Iraq war, and dismissing the case made by peace protestors that the WMD pretext was fabricated. Clearly, I was wrong, and had been fooled". " . . . 9/11, Apollo, Covid - three collective insanities among many more. The last decade has been very strange for me. Once you see that “normality” is a madhouse, you cannot unsee it. The failure of one part of the psychosis to entrap you leads you to questioning more and more, and finding ever greater parts of the “consensus reality” to be built on lies, and become alienated from those who want to believe fabulous fairy tales. Slowly I have come to understand how these mass hallucinations actually work. Firstly, the absurdity and chutzpah of the lie is a feature, not a bug. Once people have widely accepted the manifestly impossible, they have an unconscious internal shame at being subjugated. What matters to them is “common knowledge”, which is what they believe that other people believe. As social creatures it is seen as being more important to belong to the crowd, than to be dangerously isolated and ostracised. Secondly, pointing out the problem provokes a hurt ego in the deceived. A self-reinforcing system of social policing keeps the lie alive, lest anyone’s pride be hurt. Those who question the narrative and raise the anomalies are ignored, dismissed, or ridiculed. Over time the falsehood becomes more entrenched; the longstanding nature of the lie is evidence for its legitimacy. Thirdly, our society is not welcoming of dissent and dissidents. Censorship is implicitly celebrated when those who point out the popular delusion are silenced. The terms of respectable debate put the lie out of bounds. Curiosity, open-mindedness, and fallibility are given lip service, but a narcissistic culture renders them impotent as forces in mainstream society. I hope me sharing my own “conspiracy analyst” journey is illuminating for others. I have learned to care little about the vigorous opinions of people who have not examined the data, suppressed their need to be right, or confronted the possibility of evil at work. I am expecting these three enormous lies (and many more) to be exposed in time, and the truth doesn’t need anyone to defend it - including me". Read more here . . . [Forwarded from Katharine Gun]
If you haven't read this article by Iain Davis I urge you to and bookmark it. The "Covert Human Intelligence and Sources Act" was passed in March 21. The "Policing, Courts and Sentencing Act" was passed just a couple of weeks ago and the "Online Harms Bill" will no doubt sail through. Following that the "Official Secrets Act" and "Countering State Threats" legislation is in the works. It's the full foundations for a dictatorship coupled with the WHO Pandemic Treaty and so on. The UK public are now legally open to being entrapped by government officials, banned from even a one person protest at the whim of the government, potentially blocked from accessing information online. Monitored, surveilled, manipulated, tracked, silenced, excluded, fined, imprisoned for opposing the status quo. On top of all that, they have given permission for mass fluoridation of Britain's water supply. https://www.ukcolumn.org/article/the-uk-new-normal-dictatorship |
