Note also that this post (https://t.me/hwitgeard/8045) highlights the bait and switch involved in 15 minute city propaganda. We would all love to turn back the clock, we would love for sprawling urban metropolises to become "walkable cities" with "clean air" or small market villages like the picture above, where everyone knows each other and supports for each other (only possible without diversity). However as Ted points out - once the technology is there, it's impossible to roll back. Cities which are redeveloped on a large scale for roads do not become walkable and human-scale again.
On the surface the "15 minute cities" presents itself as downscaling cities back to the "human scale" again, and indeed this is the propaganda which the Left has adopted, but all this is impossible without any reduction on the wider infrastructure of political power, technology, mass population replacement and displacement, and mass production of goods. It dangles localism as bait to switch and lead people into a constrained technocratic globalism.
